Issues related to electrical wiring problems are the most common cause of accidents. The wiring which is open, loose or broken causes irreparable damage to the device and property.

Flicking Lights:

Flickering lights are usually experienced in the event of high-speed wind or a storm. Usually, this is due to loose or open wiring that causes a short whenever the cable moves.  To begin with, it might be just an annoyance, however, it could also lead to a fire.

In this case, it is best practice to call a professional electrician, who is trained and skilled and can identify and resolve the problem for you.

Overlamping:

Essentially overlamping is when a light fixture has a bulb with a higher wattage than the fixture is designed for. Over the course of time, the inside of many houses become out of date, straining to supply our ever-growing collection of electricity-hungry appliances, lighting, and electronics.

The signs of strain can be seen in a tangle of extension cords and power strips sprouting from a single outlet—or lurking unseen behind walls, ceilings, and cover plates.

If you have not had your wiring looked at it’s generally a sound idea to hire an electrician to conduct an inspection.

Over Wired Panels:

Overwired panels contain more circuits than they are rated to handle and hence are prone to increased risk of electrocution in wet areas.

When you see some such panel, get an electrician on priority and get it checked.
